What should we share when we tell our story? Read John 4:4-42.
Notice how God used the Samaritan woman’s simple testimony as a bridge to point her people to Jesus (v29). But the story didn’t stop with her sharing her story. The people then heard Jesus’ word for themselves (v39-42). This is our goal in sharing out testimony - introducing people to Jesus and helping them discover God’s Word for themselves.
Now, prepare your own testimony. Your story should have one adjective describing who you were before Jesus and one adjective describing what changed once you met Jesus. Try to keep it around 30 - 60 seconds.
