Why are you so excited about Jesus? He's just one of many ways to connect with god. All religions are basically the same?
Jesus did not claim to be one among many ways to access God. On the contrary, He said that He was the only way to come the Father (John 14:6). He is also unique of all of the spiritual teachers, He is the only one to give His life for the sins of others and then raise from the dead.
You mentioned that all religions are basically the same. I would have to disagree. There are overlapping principles - the ideas of doing good, praying and the like. But these similarities are superficial. At the core, Christianity differs from other faiths in that instead of man working their way to God through good deeds, God has come to man as Jesus Christ and given Himself as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
